Club History

The Old Fort Mustang Club was formed in 1979 by John Baltes, Fred & Mary Jo Painter, Jeff Lake, Pat & Mary Stone, and Joe & Judy Fabini. Dedicated to the enjoyment of America’s original pony car. The club has grown to include people of all ages who share a common interest, the Ford Mustang.

The Old Fort Mustangers Club was organized in Fort Wayne, Indiana and became a MCA chartered club December 11, 1979, to provide a medium of exchange for ideas and information on the cars and maintenance of many types Mustangs. The OFMC is dedicated to the enjoyment of Mustangs from America's original Ponycar to today's sleek new Mustangs. The goal is to promote interest in the Mustang as a collectible American classic car. The OFMC brings together people with a common interest, often forming lasting friendships.

Club events are held each month in the form of meetings, outings, and area car shows. The club has members of all ages and is made up of people from the tri-state region.
